Are you registered to vote in Boulder? Help us create more fabulous, site-specific, original collaborations like our recent show INTERZONE! We need 4,000 signatures by June 9 to get a measure on the ballot to support funding for the arts in Boulder.By now, you have probably heard from many arts organizations about the expiring sales tax that has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to secure dedicated funding for the arts in Boulder. We can not express how important this is for the arts organizations you love and the overall cultural landscape of your city. This would not increase current taxes. Instead, it would extend an expiring sales tax and divert it to fund arts, culture and heritage programs (administered through the Office of Arts and Culture). The tax would generate approximately $7.5 million a year to support organizations you love, like 3rd Law. Sign the petition at the link in our story to give this measure a chance to be voted on, or go to www.artsforboulder.com/sign-the-petition. *Registered Boulder voters only*Photo Grace Creative Studios See MoreSee Less
