FOR EXAMPLE: is a selection of work created during the pandemic when 3rd Law performed in a parking garage, on a backyard stage, in various outdoor venues and created dance-for-camera pieces to continue the artistic work of the company and stay connected to the community. We are back in the theater and excited to see you again.
Under the artistic direction of Katie Elliott, this evening features pieces by composer Paul Fowler, filmmaker L. Ashwyn Collins, and a work in collaboration with our Dance for Parkinson’s program, on-screen in choreographic synchronicity with the Company. Audiences can expect intimate collaborations enacting the collective question of these past two years: How can fragmentation cohere toward a greater whole?
